These select compositions for Bharatanatyam are from Guru Rajee’s books, Nritya Geeta Mala, Volumes 1 & 2. Sung beautifully by O. S. Arun and Guru Rajee herself, the quality of the recordings is excellent. This is not surprising for those who are familiar with Guru Rajee, for nothing else can be expected from this stickler for perfection.

The accompaniment has been provided by Sri N. Shyam Sundar (Nattuvangam), Sri P. R. Chandran (mridangam), Smt. Mangalam Muthuswamy (veena), Smt. Sabita Sadashiv (violin), Sri P. K. Murthy (flute) and voice-over by Smt. Mala Murli.
