In this book, Guru Rajee presents folk songs of India, from Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Punjab and Maharashtra.

There are 2 sections - the first is the Refined Folk songs of Tamil Nadu, which gives 12 songs, including traditional Kummi and Kolattam, as well as those penned by Guru Rajee herself. The second section presents Rustic Folk songs of India, including Kavadi, Karagam, Lavani, Bhangra and others.
