Kesari started learning Bharatanatyam from Guru Rajee, when she was 8 years of age. A prolific dancer, she performed her Arangetram in 1982 and has given many performances since then, for the YMCA, Mysore Association, BARC, etc. in Mumbai.
A special performance was for Gejje Ulivu, where she presented several compositions in Kannada, specially choreographed by Guru Rajee. Kesari has received the Singar Mani award, Swami Haridas Sangeet Sammelan, Mumbai. She has performed in Bangalore, Indore, Mangalore, Satara, Aurangabad and other Indian cities.
Kesari has also learnt Nattuvangam and Natya Sastra from Guru Rajee. Currently based in Muscat, she has given performances there and also teaches dance at A1 Wadi A1 Kabir Indian School, Muscat. Her solo performances and excellently choreographed ballets are highly appreciated.
