Suhasini Jayaraman began her training in Bharatanatyam at age 8 from Guru Rajee. She performed her Arangetram in 2002.

She has participated in several Nritya Geethanjali group programmes, at Nehru Centre, the Shanmukhananda Fine Arts & Sangeetha Sabha, Mumbai and others. She has participated in inter-school and inter-college folk dance and music competitions and won many prizes. She actively participates in spiritual activities organized by the Sri Satya Sai Seva Organisation.

Apart from learning vocal Carnatic music, Tala Sastra, Natya Sastra and Nattuvangam from Guru Rajee, she also plays the violin and is learning konnakol. She takes keen interest in attending Carnatic music concerts and seminars. Her other interests include reading, cooking and surfing the Net. Her first love is Bharatanatyam and she hopes to continue learning and performing this divine art.
