Sukanya Subramanian, is an accomplished and devoted classical dancer. She received her training in Bharatanatyam under the able tutelage of Guru Rajee, under whom she had her Arangetram and under whom she continues her training in Nattuvangam and Natya Shastra.

Her repertoire as a solo performer and as well as a prominent member of Nritya Geethanjali’s group includes performances at the prestigious National Centre for Performing Arts and Tata Theatre in Mumbai, Shivali Cultural Festival and Naadhaanjali in Mumbai, for cultural festivals in Chennai and CPC Doordarshan, New Delhi.

Her performances are noteworthy for precise execution of graceful and well-carved movements and her natural flair for expressions, in which she gets completely involved. Dancing that started as a hobby has now become a passion and Sukanya has taken to it with dedication.

She holds a professional management degree in Human Resources Development.
