Guru Vandana
Guru Rajee celebrates her guru, Neela Balasubramaniam's birth centenary (founder-director
of Nataraja Natya Niketan, Chennai) with a puja and dance / music recital at the residence of
Smt. Meera Grimes, daughter of Guru Neela
Guru Rajee will be accompanied by Shri Sridhar
(son of Guru Neela) on the harmonium, Shri Dilip (also son of Guru Neela) on the mridangam,
family members, Smt. Samyukta Varadarajan, Smt. Mangalam Subramaniam, Smt. Gowri Rajagopal
and other very senior students.
- Mahasivaratri will be observed on 20th February, 2012.
Natyanjali, classical dance festival, is
an annual feature at Sri Subramania Samaj’s temple, Chembur.
This year, the festival starts on
Saturday, 11th and concludes on Monday, 20th February.
